The following pertain to all refunds.
- All refunds for credit card and PayPal payments are subject to a 5% processing fee that will be subtracted from any refund amount.
- Errors resulting in multiple payments will be fully refunded
- Requests for refund due to extenuating circumstances will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and decided by the MCC board of directors.
- If the club needs to cancel a league or event due to an outside unforeseen circumstance (health concerns, ice plant failure, etc.), individuals will be refunded a prorated amount.
- Refunds will not be issued if league play is canceled due to weather related events. Within reason, all efforts will be made to reschedule the canceled event.
Membership Fees - A full refund (minus fees) will be granted if the cancellation occurs before the member’s first day of curling. Once league play has begun no refund on membership fees will be granted.
League Fees - For MCC members, a full refund (minus fees) will be granted if cancellation occurs before the member’s first day of curling. Once league play has begun a fifty percent (50%) refund will be granted if cancellation occurs within the first two (2) weeks of curling. No refund will be given thereafter.
Group Events - For group events a full refund (minus fees) will be granted if cancellation occurs at least seven (7) days prior to the event. No refund will be given thereafter.
Learn-to-Curl - For Learn-to-Curl classes a full refund (minus fees) will be granted if cancellation occurs at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the event. No refund will be given thereafter. We will consider class change requests if availability allows. A change request due to schedule conflicts may be made at least twelve (12) hours prior to the event. A change request due to Covid-19 or injury may be made anytime by the injured individual and the parent/guardian of a minor, if participating.
Bonspiels - Team refunds (minus fees) are only available if cancellation occurs at least seven (7) days prior to the first date of the bonspiel and a suitable replacement is found to register in place of the canceling team. No refund will be issued if the team cancels inside of seven (7) days, even if a replacement team can be found.
